Strategic Advisory
Clear thinking from every angle
Some decisions are bigger than the day-to-day: a board deciding its direction, a network of agencies trying to show its impact, a community trying to understand what residents need, a business that has outgrown what its owner can hold. Good Works Results brings careful listening, structure and an outside view, so you can see the decision from every side, whether it's yours to make or your board's.

Ways We Help
Three kinds of advisory work
Growing businesses
One-on-one for owners · Advising and coaching
One-on-one work with an owner who is scaling, from a fellow owner who runs his own business too. Part strategic advisor in the integrator role, part coach: a steady second seat that turns your vision into priorities and follow-through.
Boards and funders
Board organizational consulting for boards working through direction or change: individual conversations with board members and staff, a half-day retreat, and a written summary of what was heard and what comes next.
Needs assessment and community listening: surveys, listening sessions and clear theme reports that show where to act first.
Nonprofits and public agencies
Impact measurement that helps agencies measure what matters, with data that works for the people doing the work.
Workshops, including the Coach Approach Workshop, training for leaders bringing a coaching approach to staff development, and team workshops built around your goals.
Advisory in Practice
What this work has looked like
Four recent engagements, from a single board retreat to a needs assessment that became a new program.

From a needs assessment to a new program
In 2025, a needs assessment with agencies funded by Milton Township's mental health board named two shared challenges: keeping staff and measuring impact. Those became the two Agency Capacity Builder cohorts.

A board retreat that built agreement
The DeKalb County Community Mental Health Board wanted to work through its own direction. Individual conversations with every board and staff member led into a half-day retreat and a written summary of next steps.
Listening across a township
For the Hanover Township Human Services Coordinating Council, survey responses and a facilitated session were turned into a theme report the council could act on.
A second seat for a growing business
Daniel serves as integrator for Provable Solutions, Mark Connor's automotive marketing company, turning big ideas into priorities and follow-through.
"When it came time to develop a program for the DeKalb County Community Mental Health Board's annual retreat, I knew Daniel had the perspective, passion, and knowledge to make the day a success. He took the time to understand the request, put together an informed and flexible presentation, and guided the Board through a complex and thoroughly productive process. Everyone agreed that Daniel's work made the day a victory!"
