The answers are already in the room. 21 agencies proved it.
Leaders from organizations funded by the Milton Township Community Mental Health Board came together for the introduction roundtable of the Agency Capacity Builder, a new peer-driven program where funded agencies solve real challenges together.
Participants rotated through speed connecting conversations, worked two peer consultations on workforce retention and making evaluation data useful to teams, and helped shape the direction of the first cohort through theme refinement and voting. What stood out: others are navigating the same challenges, and there is power in working on them together.
The Agency Capacity Builder convenes funded agencies in six-month cohorts to tackle shared challenges together. Each agency sends two leaders, an executive and a mid-level leader, so that strategy and implementation move forward at the same time. Sessions rotate among agency sites, giving participants exposure to each other's operations and communities served. Coaching, peer accountability, and supportive funding from the Milton Township Community Mental Health Board keep the work moving.
