Two people have a place to live tonight because one partner shared a landlord list with another agency.
That's the return our Resource Sharing segment was built to produce, and it's the news that opened our seventh session of the Nonprofit Leaders Forum serving the residents of Hanover Township.
Two Partner Consultations picked up that same thread. One partner had been quietly asking herself whether the boundaries she needed would be read as fair or as not being a team player, the exact tension mid-level leaders sit with alone more often than not. She left with the room's reframe: boundaries keep you safe, not something to apologize for. Another partner is working on holding her team accountable without losing the empathy that makes people want to stay, a balance every growing supervisor has to find.
A new Skills Lab on managing up gave partners a real structure for asking their leadership for what they need, built around naming a specific timeline, leading with empathy, and following through instead of stalling out in blame or overthinking.
Maryville Academy (https://www.maryvilleacademy.org) left with a stronger referral network for its excellent Family Support Program and several new outreach paths, named on the spot, to help get the word out about the work they're doing to support families and at-risk youth.

Partners described the space itself as clean, bright, and intentionally built with wellness in mind.
