We Rise By Lifting Others Up (Nonprofit Leaders Forum – Bloomingdale Township 2026)

“We rise by lifting others up.”  These words from a forum partner captured the spirit of the inaugural session of the 2026 cohort of the Nonprofit Leaders Forum, empowering nonprofit leaders serving Bloomingdale Township residents with tools and a trusted network. www.goodworksresults.com/nonprofitforum

This forum, in partnership with Good Works Results LLC, proves that leaders don’t have to navigate challenges alone. Seven cohorts in, we’ve seen how peer connection transforms isolated leaders into collaborative problem-solvers.

We kicked things off with Speed Connecting, which built trust and led to authentic sharing. The heart of the session was the Partner Consultation, in which a leader sought clarity on a major organizational task. The peer group validated the challenge and provided actionable solutions, such as developing a positive business case (time-saver, grant metrics) and considering external support. Mental health network learning included a deep dive into YWCA Metropolitan Chicago’s critical Children’s Mental Health Consultation services. https://static1.squarespace.com/static/651af12c3ba5380699d55346/t/6548fb24f268e87c0e0d3b24/1699281700855/Childrens-Mental-Health-Flyer-Bloomingdale.pdf

A huge thank you to our inspiring host,Alive Center in Hanover Park! Partners were particularly impressed by their successful outreach, which has resulted in many students attending their drop-in youth programming and homework cafe. The Center’s model was celebrated by the cohort as an example of incredible service to the community.
